A1 Limousine Service Terms and Conditions

No Show Policy
No Show Policy For Airport: If you fail to show up at the scheduled pickup time and/or location for the arriving fight information you provided to us and there has not been any contact with A1 Limousine Service after 20 minutes for domestic flights or 35 minutes for international flights you will be considered a “No Show” and billed the full fee including the base rate, driver gratuity and any accumulated expenses. If you can't locate your vehicle, DO NOT LEAVE! Call our office at 1-800-774-8383 and we will locate your driver and assist you in locating your reserved car.
No Show Policy For Non-Airport: If you fail to show up at the scheduled pickup time and/or location, you will be billed a full charge for the quoted price including base rate, driver gratuity and any accumulated expenses. If you do not see your driver at a certain pick up point do not leave before calling the dispatch office, 800-774-8383 we will direct you to your chauffeur. If you leave without calling you will be billed for the full price of the ride (or a no-show fee). If we do not hear from you, the driver will wait up to 15 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. We will then release the car and you will be billed for a No Show which will be the Full Price of the ride (or a no show fee) plus any waiting time charges.
A cancellation fee of 90% of the total cost will be charged on all reservations cancelled. Full trip cost will be charged for all reservations cancelled less than 30 days even if the service is not completed at the request of the passenger.
Waiting Time Policy
Waiting Time: there is a 5-minute grace period. After the grace period has elapsed, waiting time charges will apply.
- Sedan – $3.75 Per minute
- Luxury SUV – $6.00 Per minute
- Stretch Limousine – $7.50 Per minute
- Stretch SUV – $9.50 Per minute
- Limo Bus – $15.00 Per minute
Waiting Time for Airports & Train Station only – A1 Limousine Service grants a 10 minutes grace period after the reported domestic flight arrival time and a 30 minutes grace period after reported international flight arrival time. Once the grace period has elapsed and the customer has not called, the vehicle will be dismissed and a full charge will be applied.
Charters (Hourly Service)
• 1 minute into the hour is 1 hour charge
• Automatic 20% gratuity will be added to all charter reservations
• The hourly service price may vary based on your location
• All trips to and from concerts and sport events will be booked as an hourly service
• Hourly service does not apply to out-of-state-trips. Please ask for a quote.
• Waiting time charges do not apply to hourly service
• Prom overtime charges must be pre-approved and pre-authorized
Stops (Airport & Point-to-Point Transfers)
Extra stops, including extra airline stops are charged a minimum $250 per “en-route” stop and include a maximum 5 minute wait period at the stop. Additional wait time is charged at $15 per minute or the prevailing hourly rate in 3 hour increments.
Confirmations & Rates
A confirmation number is provided for every reservation and a confirmation email is generated by the computer system. It is the traveler’s responsibility to review the confirmation information for accuracy.
Surface Transportation Charge (STC)
STC is a surcharge based upon various overhead expense items, some of which may not relate to the specific trip. The STC is always calculated as a flat percentage of the base rate.
For sedan, limousine and SUV services in the United States and Canada, the Fuel Surcharge is calculated based on the Energy Information Agency's (EIA's) published fuel pricing forecasts. Quoted amount may differ from billed amount based on forecast in effect when services are provided. Fuel surcharges for specialty vehicles, including vans, minibuses, and motor coaches, will vary.
Child Safety Seats
For safety reasons A1 Limousine provide child safety or booster seats at an additional cost. However, customers are encouraged to provide and install their own child safety or booster seats to insure age and weight appropriate equipment.
Pet and Service Animals
Animals may only be transported in a kennel or soft-sided pet container. In the event damage occurs to the vehicle, caused by the animal, damage and/or cleaning fee may be charged.
For passengers with disabilities traveling with a service animal, the animal does not require being transported in a kennel or soft-sided pet container.
Lost or Misplaced Items
A1 Limousine Service assumes no liability for any lost or misplaced personal property or any other items. A1 Limousine will not be responsible for any belongings left while the client is in or out of the vehicle. A1 Limousine reserves the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found. The rate will be equal to the rate of a Point to Point transfer to your location plus 20% Chauffeur gratuity.
The maximum seating capacity (as detailed when making a reservation) must not be exceeded
Drivers are not authorized to exceed the number of passengers stated on your contract.
Exceeding the number of passengers is a violation of state law and our insurance guidelines.
Excessive Cleaning & Damages
If, during or after the transportation service, the company is required to expend an extended amount of time and material to clean the vehicle due to acts of the client or any passenger (i.e., spilling food & drinks, vomiting, excessive trash) , the company, at its discretion, will charge client additional fees to cover such expense. Damage to the vehicle in any way caused by actions of the client or any passenger will be charged in full to the client. The minimum clean up fee is $500.
Should the customer or their passengers vomit or leave other bodily fluid in the vehicle, the customer will be charged $500 directly to the credit card on file. A1 Limousine's chauffeur will gladly pull over at any time – as long as it’s safe – when instructed to do so. Similarly, the customer's credit card shall be charged a minimum of $500 for any spills, and or burns in interior, etc… that require excessive clean up. This fee is necessary to cover costly cleaning charges, and the time the vehicle cannot be used. Customer authorizes their credit card on file to be charged immediately if this were to so happen.
Smoking Strictly Prohibited
Smoking in all vehicles is strictly prohibited. Smoking in the vehicle by the client or any passenger will result in an automatic minimum $1200 charge. Damage caused by smoking activity will also be charged to the client.
Local drinking laws apply and clients assume all responsibility associated with the consumption of alcohol while in the limousine. Chauffeur / Driver will not will supply or purchase alcohol for clients. A1 Limousine Service Has zero Tolerance for Underage Drinking. No underage drinking or possession of alcohol is permitted in any of our limos! In case this occurs, the A1 Limousine Service chauffeur may terminate the trip with no refunds and the minors will be dropped off in a safe location.
Eating is not allowed in vehicles.
Illegal activities, rough behavior, sexual activities or lewd acts are not allowed in the vehicles at any time and will result in termination of service with no refund. Authorities will be notified if appropriate. Passenger(s) must give respect and full attention to the driver. Driver has the right to terminate the contract right away on the spot if he or she feels that they have been disrespected. A1 Limousine will not be responsible for injuries that may occur due to horse playing while the vehicle is in motion or at a standstill.
Illegal, Immoral or Sexual Activities
No sexual activities are allowed onboard our vehicles. No illegal or immoral activity allowed inside the vehicles such action/s will be terminating the contract plus a $100 cleaning fee will be charged to the card on file.
Partition will not be closed. All partition controls are disconnected. The purchaser on the front of this contract is responsible for his or her guests. In the event of violating.
A1 Limousine Service shall make every effort to provide a vehicle that is identical (in terms of model, size, color, etc.) to the customer’s REQUEST. However, A1 Limousine Service does not GUARANTEE that an IDENTICAL vehicle will be available for customer’s use, and shall not be liable if an IDENTICAL vehicle is not available on the date of service. A1 Limousine Service does not GUARANTEE the year, color, passenger capacity, model, type, or brand of vehicle. A1 Limousine Service will, at its discretion, dispatch a vehicle subject to availability on the day and time of service.
A1 Limousine Service reserves the right to substitute and/or the vehicle or the color of the vehicle at its own discretion at anytime even during the course of reservation.
Our vehicle capacity is rated on average size person. Our vehicles have a seat width of 17.5 inch per passenger. The customer is responsible for larger than average guests, and should plan accordingly. If you have larger people in your party, you will need to compensate people for room. If you need more than one vehicle to accommodate your party, please contact us to make those arrangements. A1 Limousine Service shall not be liable for refunds in connection with or arising out of seating capacity.
The Company reserves the right to refuse to transport persons under the influence of intoxication liquor or drugs, or who are, or are likely to become objectionable to other persons or if the Chauffeur feels threatened in any way.
Baggage and Other Property Transported
A1 Limousine Service does not assume any responsibility whatsoever for the handling or maintenance of any baggage, parcels or other property. Baggage and all other personal property will be handled only at Client’s own risk. Client’s baggage shall be carried subject to the available accommodations.
A1 Limousine Service can’t accept new reservations, changes and cancellations by e-mail and it is recommended that you verbally confirm any request sent after normal business hours and on major holidays.
We cannot guarantee changes or new reservations unless sent to with adequate notice.
You should always get an e-mail confirmation of a new reservation, any changed reservation or cancelled reservation. If you do not receive such e-mail confirmation, please contact us right away.
Phone Calls & Conversation
Please note that all phone communications, conversation, voice calls, incoming or outgoing are recorded if you don’t consent hung up the phone by continuing the conversation you give permission to be recorded.
Oral agreements can form legally binding contracts and our phone calls; audio recording of the discussion or phone reservations recording can be evidence of the terms of the contract and they are legally admissible in courts or to present it as evidence to third party like financial institution, merchant services, debt recovery, collection agencies or credit card processing companies.
Legal Services, Litigation Costs & Attorneys' Fees
You the customer held responsible for both parties court costs, attorney, legal fees and collection agency fees regardless of legal outcome.
In the event that A1 Limousine Service and or its Affiliate Network shall find it necessary to employ an attorney to enforce any covenant, term or condition of this contract, customer agrees to pay A1 Limousine Service the reasonable attorney’s fees, expenses and costs related thereto, including, but not limited to, costs of court, thereby incurred by A1 Limousine Service. The venue of any cause of action arising out of this contract is hereby set by the parties to be in a court of competent jurisdiction in Dupage County, Illinois, and this contract shall be performable in its entirety in Dupage County, Illinois. This contract shall be construed under the laws of the State of Illinois.
To avoid forfeiture of reservation fees, additional Charge or a cancelation; Pets; Sports Equipment, Musical Instruments and Excessive luggage must be disclosed at the time of booking.
The following additional charges will be itemized on the customer billing statement when applicable: Two way tolls, Stops, Parking, Meet and Greet, Airport fees, Cell phone usage and Early and late pick up charges, car seats, Airport Tax, WIFI, additional stops, waiting time, cleaning fee, interior or exterior damage, traveling with excessive luggage, golf clubs, skis, boxes, oversized items, and other surcharges that cannot be calculated prior to service are not included in the estimate.
Limitation of liability
A1 Limousine Service shall not be liable in any event or for any reason, including breach of this agreement, either directly or indirectly, to the other party or any third party for any special, indirect, incidental, punitive, exemplary or consequential damages or loss of profits arising out of this agreement, even if such damages were foreseeable or A1 Limousine Service has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
General Terms and Safety
A1 Limousine Service and its Affiliates reserves the right to cancel any service without refund if the chauffeur or the office feels the renting party or any one member of the renting party is endangering the rest of the said party and/or if the renting party is in possession of any illegal substances. Absolutely no sexual activity will be tolerated in the vehicle and absolutely no minors will be allowed to have possession of any kind of alcohol and/or illegal substances. The service can be cancelled without refund. There are no exceptions. A1 Limousine Service and its parent company shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its control including weather, road conditions and breakdowns. A1 Limousine Service and its parent company assumes no responsibility for neither lost or damaged baggage or personal belongings, nor for any items left in the vehicle. A1 Limousine Service reserves the right to charge a delivery fee for returning lost items if found. The rate will be equal to the rate of an airport transfer to your location plus 20% service fee. A1 Limousine Service and its Affiliates reserves the right to terminate any reservation without refund, if the Operator or Dispatcher feels that the Renter or Party of Renters is putting the Chauffeur or Renter/Party of Renters in danger of injury, or possession of any illegal material. Service will be canceled without refund.
Customers are prohibited from standing up through the moon roof, hanging out of the windows, opening the doors of the vehicle, while in motion or throwing trash out the windows. Such action will be terminating the contract. A1 Limousine will not be responsible for injuries that may occur due to horse playing while the vehicle is in motion or at a standstill.
Customer and customer's guest agree to conduct themselves in an orderly and well-behaved manner. A1 Limousine reserves the right to expel any person from the vehicle, and to terminate service for disrespect, lewd conduct, objectionable behavior, or harassment of any sort occurs. In the event of such early termination, no portion of the fees shall be refunded. Customer acknowledges that by using the vehicle and employing A1 Limousine services, customer has found all the terms and conditions listed on this agreement to be acceptable.
Rates are subject to change without notice.
We reserve the right to make changes to these terms and conditions.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
A1 Limousine Service and its Affiliate Network can not be held responsible for any delays as a result of traffic, emergency road closure’s, adverse weather conditions that are beyond our control.
Copyrights, Trademarks and Ownership
All content of the Site, including software scripts and applets, are owned by A1 Limousine Service. You may not modify copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, publish, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell any information, software, or services obtained from the Site without the written permission of A1 Limousine Service. You should assume that everything you see or read on the Site is copyrighted unless otherwise noted.
Upon determination that any of the above policies were violated, A1 Limousine may terminate service to the client and shall be deemed to have fulfilled its contractual obligations to the client under the agreement.
